1990


Barely a year after operation, Trends was accredited by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the worldwide umbrella organization of all major airlines and travel agencies. That same year, the company became a member of the Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA), and the Makati Chamber of Commerce. This marked a milestone in the company’s growth and expansion.


1993


Trends began venturing into inbound operations to help promote the Philippine tourism industry. It received its accreditation from two government agencies at the forefront of the country’s tourism industry: the Department of Tourism, and the Philippine Convention and Visitors Corporation.


2000


In line with Trends’ pursuit for excellence and quality service, the company was accredited by the Lloyds Quality Assurance Registry as an ISO 9000 certified company in 2000.


2002


Trends became one of the twelve founding members of the Philippine Marine Travel Agencies Association (PMTAA), the country’s prime organization of top travel agents serving the marine industry. The group has since then established a strong strategic position with airlines and the global market.


2005


In 2005, Trends became a member partner of a global network, the International Marine Travel Group (IMTG). Being a part of this group, Trends now has direct links to Australia, Dubai, Greece, Holland, India, Norway, Singapore, South Africa, United Kingdom, Russia and China.


2006


In line with its commitment to quality service for its clients, Trends once again was accredited in 2006 by the Societe Generale De Survillance (SGS) as a ISO 9001-2000 certified company.


2009


Trends was accredited by TÜV SÜD as ISO 9001:2008 certified. Trends takes pride in being one of the few travel agencies in the world that has passed the rigid accreditation of three prestigious certifying organizations.


2010


Trends joins the International Travel Partnership (ITP), a global alliance of 45 international travel agencies worldwide, with a strong multinational business portfolio. These global partners provide the competitive edge to serve the demands of the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferencing, exhibitions) market, and corporate and FIT (foreign international traveler) clients.

Trends continues to sustain growth in the corporate and leisure market. The continuing training and development of its staff has allowed it to effectively serve various pharmaceutical, government and non-governmental organizations, IT and manufacturing companies and international schools. It is also a preferred travel partner of the FIT (foreign individual travelers) and leisure markets for its warm and personalized service.
